Membership Information
Where do we find fellow Chapter Members?
Think about your neighbors, your bridge club, your bunco friends, your bowling team, your workout partners, your church friends, your friends at work, your classmates from years gone by, your silly relatives. The possibilities are endless. Your chapter can have two members, two dozen or two hundred. If you want, you can join as a member of the "Independent Chapter" and invite others to join you later.
How do we join?
Order a membership package for yourself, for each of your chapter members, or order one as a gift for that "marbleous friend." Each package contains a sterling silver membership pin ("Proof positive that you have not lost all your marbles!"), a membership certificate with the society's history and mission statement that you can personalize with the member's name and your chapter name, and some cards you can share with others. All is packaged in an organza gift bag.
Then what do we do?
Then you do whatever you please! (We find that too much organization and too many rules contribute to the losing of one's marbles!) You can meet once a week or once a year. You can meet to play cards or games or tennis or golf. You can agree to go to movies together... or a play... or a concert... or a ballgame... or a casino. You can meet at a home, a restaurant, a winery or a cruise ship! We suggest that you share some delightful refreshment, but all that is required is that you enjoy one another's company, share your lost marble stories and laugh a lot! Between meetings, or when miles separate you, you can always keep in touch through the Lost Marbles' Members' Forum!
